MESSAGE FROM THE MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE

     Our Academy continued to grow in the past year with a total membership now at 235. The membership committee has been actively recruiting new members from the graduates of the U.C.L.A. program as well as other well trained physicians.
     In the coming year we will be expanding our efforts to contact other training programs and physicians outside the U.C.LA. group. I am asking all our members to help in this effort, by contacting colleagues in your community who practice acupuncture and tell them about the Academy. We need more members to ensure the continued expansion of the activities of the Academy.
     As Lao-Tzu would have said, "Ask not what your Academy can do for you, ask what you can do for your Academy."
